We will always try our very best to achieve the vision you have for your pieces, but please bear in mind the following points prior to placing your custom order with us.

• Due to the delicate and handcrafted nature of this product, as much as we aim for absolute perfection, no two charms will ever be perfectly identical or symmetrical.

• We always endeavour to match the colour of your pets as closely as possible. Although we have hundreds of colours available we are limited to the selection available to us as only a set amount of colour options are manufactured in the specific glass we use.

• We always try our absolute best to make sure we stay within our pre-order lead timeframe as quoted. Occasionally if unforeseen delays happen (e.g. artist illness, workshop equipment malfunction etc.) the timeline of your order may be extended slightly. If you have a specific date or special occasion (e.g as a gift) that you need your order ready and in time for please let us know as soon as possible, ideally prior to placing your order.

• All custom pieces are created in our own signature Picnic Blanket artistic style. Typically we will make custom beads in the same unique Picnic Blanket shape and style as you can see in our non-custom pieces. For example your custom kitty charm will be in the same shape and style and pose as our non-custom kitty cat charm but with your kitties markings/colourings. Any variation to the bead shape or style must be pre-agreed prior to placing your order and we can’t guarantee that we will be able to accommodate every request.

• We will make every effort to accurately represent your pets, we highly recommend viewing our previous custom work so that you can see how they will be recreated in our art form, prior to ordering.

• Due to the small size and scale of the beads we create, combined with the nature of lampwork glassmaking we aren’t always able to recreate very specific detail.

• This is also the case for eye colour, we have spent a long time experimenting with different colours but find that black achieves the overall cutest looking charm. Unfortunately we are not able to offer other colours to be incorporated in the size, as the approximate size of the eye is less than <1mm across. 

• Please note that all custom orders cannot be returned, cannot be cancelled and are non-refundable regardless of when the order was placed or if production has not yet started. Any cancellation is completely down to our discretion and will be decided on an individual basis. If we have not yet started your custom we may be able to offer a partial refund of your order, but this will be subject to a cancellation fee.
• We will always send photos of custom charms to you prior to finishing a custom piece. We won’t finish the piece or send the product to you until we hear back from you. Please be sure to check your spam folder for our photos as with some email providers they are often flagged as spam.

• Sometimes we do make mistakes, so If you are not completely satisfied with the bead we create please do let us know at the point at which we send photos to you of the beads. If you do not communicate with us at this point it will be difficult to make any changes or alterations past this point. We will always try our very best to accommodate reasonable requests and do our very best to make sure we get it right for you. This will be down to our discretion and every decision taken on an individual basis.
