Job Opportunity: In-House Lampwork Artist at Picnic Blanket Jewellery
Do you have experience in Lampworking? Picnic Blanket Jewellery, based in Lancashire, is offering an exciting opportunity for the right person to join us as an in-house lampwork artist to help us create unique and meaningful pieces.
At Picnic Blanket we proudly handcraft all of our unique glass jewellery using the timeless method of lampwork. We are a fast-growing brand with a loyal global customer base and we are looking to expand our production by hiring a dedicated skilled Lampwork Artist for our team. As our in-house Lampwork Artist you will work closely with our Founder and Creative Director, Katie, to produce our iconic glass charms.
What We’re Looking For:
- A strong interest in pursuing a career in lampwork and glasswork*
- The Ideal candidate will have demonstrable experience in lampwork*
- Dexterous qualities and an exceptional eye for detail
- Patience, consistency, and the ability to maintain high standards in your work
- Enthusiasm and motivation to master our craft
- A demonstrable interest in jewellery making and jewellery design would be highly regarded

*Please note: physical demonstrable experience in lampwork is essential for this role, although we are willing to consider a candidate with limited lampwork experience, the level of ability and knowledge will be a key factor in our suitability assessment for the position.
